What Is the RJC?

The Responsible Jewellery Council

The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the jewelry and watch industry's leading standards body, setting and auditing requirements across human rights, labour rights, environmental impact, mining practices, and business ethics.

Certification is granted only after an independent third-party audit against the RJC Code of Practices, and must be renewed on a regular cycle to remain valid — it is a standing obligation, not a one-time badge.

  • Independent third-party audit, not self-assessment
  • Code of Practices covering human rights, labour, environment, and ethics
  • Certification renewed on a fixed audit cycle
  • Recognised across the global diamond, gold, and platinum supply chain

Our Commitment

Jacob's Jewelry Co., Ltd., aligns its practices with the Responsible Jewellery Council's Code of Practices. We are committed to conducting our business with integrity, responsibility, and respect for everyone involved in our work. We uphold fundamental human rights by ensuring fair wages, lawful working hours, and strictly no child or forced labor. Our workplace is built on dignity and equal opportunity, free from discrimination, harassment, or intimidation. Every team member is encouraged to grow and to voice concerns safely, without fear of retaliation. Health and safety are essential to our operations, supported by safe working environments, responsible chemical handling, and continuous training to protect the wellbeing of all employees.

We take great care in how we source and create our products. Our supply chain follows the Responsible Jewellery Council Code of Practices, the OECD Due Diligence Guidelines, and the Kimberley Process, ensuring our diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals are conflict-free and responsibly obtained. We work only with trusted suppliers who share our ethical and environmental commitments, and we continuously review and improve our practices to minimize environmental impact, conserve natural resources, and support the communities around us.

RJC Code of Practices

Jacob's Jewelry Co., Ltd. formally operates under the Responsible Jewellery Council Code of Practices (RJC COP). The COP establishes clear requirements for how we operate — including legal compliance, supply chain due diligence, internal management systems, worker training, and transparent record-keeping. It also guides how we evaluate and work with our suppliers to ensure that our materials are responsibly sourced and traceable. By upholding this standard in our daily operations, we maintain consistency, accountability, and oversight throughout the entire production process.
